On August 4, 1914 Walter Draycott’s life changed forever. A pioneer to Lynn Valley, North Vancouver, Walter answered the call for men at the start of World War I and was thrust into combat on the Western Front. Follow his personal experience of the “Great War” from 1914 to 1918 through his daily diary entries. Each will be posted on this website, 100 years from the day it was written.
