Take the 4.5 [sic]pm train for Bolton to see JW Draycot. Arrive at 5:55 pm, and met at station by J.W.D. Grand reception. Introduced to William Draycot (son) and wife, Thomas (son), Edith (daughter). Afterward shown William’s Bank, City Hall, JW’s school where he is headmaster. We have great talk at night till midnight.
