Started out with Harry @ 10 am. For Chester. Harry purchases photographic material in town. I go on to Eastham, Hooton, Gt. Hollington & Chester. Arr. Chester @ 1.30 pm. Leave Chester at 2 pm for Neston. Have lunch at Mrs. Putt’s 6 m. outside Chester. Showers & rain on the way. Repair a girl’s bike on road (Miss Mackie of Anfield). Thro’ Neston & Parkgate. Have tea at cross roads Ashfield. Leave Parkgate 6.45, arr. Old Swan 8 pm having done 50 miles by bike.
