Left Seagrave at 9:30 am for Ragdale. Went thro’ Old Hall there once owned by Lord Ferrers. Went thro the Church which is attached to Seagrave Living. To Melton Mowbray and had a tea there then on to Thorpe Arnold and looked thro’ Registers. On to Frisby and looked thro’ Registers with Vicar’s wife, Mrs Wright. Also the Registers of Kirby Bellars. Onto Syston and called at Preston and Parson. Came to Seagrave with Maud and May who had been to Syston.
