Paraded at [base] 8:45 till 12 noon. On pass in afternoon from 4 till 9 pm. To Rouen and visited the Cathedral.
Ascended the tall steel spire. Price ½ Franc. Saw all the sights of the cathedral and then to supper at the “Brasserie Paul” Café on Rue Grand Pont. Saw Equestrian Statue of Napoleon; and “Jeanne d’Arc” in white marble. Also tablets. Visited for curiosity the “White Star Cavern” and “neighbouring houses”. “Modesty forbids an account”. Boarded No. 4 Car for “The Barrier”.
